Dr. Walsh

Dr. Walsh is one of our primary dentists at Health Centered Dentistry of Anchorage. He received his DDS from the University of Washington and is licensed in Washington as well as Alaska. But Alaska is definitely his home and he has practiced in Anchorage area for 31 years.

He has pursued hundreds of hours of advance training in the areas of mercury removal, composite and cosmetic dentistry, TMJ treatment and Oral Systemic Balance^® therapy. He has provided mercury-free dentistry since 1984.

Dr. Walsh states. “At Health Centered Dentistry I am driven by a single obsession: to provide biological dentistry at the highest level of excellence.  I partner with you to satisfy your most demanding concerns.  This is accomplished by performing an extensive initial interview and examination.  This exam appointment is followed with a consultation explaining the present condition of your mouth and involving you in a values clarification process to determine ideal solutions for you.  I desire a long term, mutually interdependent relationship.  My goal for you is optimal dental and overall health.  The honor of providing services for you is my greatest pleasure.”

Dr. Walsh is a member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology and is certified in Oral Systemic Balance^® therapy. He is an avid gardener and photos of his garden have been published in magazines and newspapers. He loves cross country and downhill skiing. He is married and has 2 grown children.

Dr. Greg Bragiel

Dr. Greg Bragiel received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Ohio State University School of Dentistry in Columbus, Ohio. He is a progressive, biological dentist and has pursued over 600 hours of continuing education in the last ten years alone. Dr. Bragiel provides mercury filling removal using safe protocol and immune system support, working closely with your general health practitioner. He also provides cosmetic and comprehensive care, including tooth colored fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures and dental implants. Dr. Bragiel has advanced training for treatment of jaw joint pain and related bite problems. His goal is to help you and your family make informed decisions about your dental health and accomplish your dental goals.

Dr. Bragiel’s interests include hiking, motorcycling, photography and backcountry skiing. He is married to Mary Beth and they enjoy backpacking together in Alaska’s great outdoors. He also volunteers as a Boy Scouts of America leader, World Wide Marriage Encounter leader and Catholic Social Services volunteer. He’s very involved with the Mountaineering Club of Alaska and Alaska Mountain Rescue Group.

Dr. Bragiel states he “loves making people smile”. He appreciates the teamwork and positive attitude at Health Centered Dentistry and the fact that “the entire team is concerned about helping our clients be informed about their dental health decisions”.

Dr. Jon Weaver

Dr. Jon Weaver loves dentistry.  He is grateful to be in a profession in which he can play a role in bettering the health and lives of his patients.  He is also grateful for colleagues and staff that share this same passion and is excited to be a part of the team at Health Centered Dentistry.  He provides general dentistry, oral surgery, root canal therapy, and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Jon received his DMD degree from the University of Louisville.  He and his wife Amber, who is a Dental Hygienist love living in Alaska and look forward to raising their family in such a beautiful state.  They have two young children, Caiden and Kaebrii.  Jon loves spending time with his family and enjoys being in the outdoors with them.  He loves to fish, hunt, snowboard, snowmachine, travel, and meet new people.
